In addition to his books, James has written for a few dozen media outlets. 
    Some highlights:

    •    About one hundred film reviews for dvdcompare.com, followed by a further hundred or
        so for Film Threat, and then just a few for Film International.

    •    Commentary on the music and sound industries for TapeOp, Alternative Press, Tribeca's Future
        of Film blog, and the Flashpoint Chicago blog.

    •    Travel and lifestyle writing for Road Trip America, American Heritage, AAA World,
        Playboy, Beverage World, and Tiki Magazine.

    •    Co-publisher, graphic designer, and author of about one-third of the content for
        Blue Harvest, a sci-fi 'zine which ran for twenty-one issues from 1993 to 2001.

    James has recently also completed his part of a collaboration for a graphic novel project,
    and is always happy to discuss writing opportunities for print or web.
